Notes
"One of the most recognizable objects of Judaica, Kiddush Cups are often forged of silver and engraved with Hebrew words or brachot. Modern artists of Judaica fashion them of painted ceramic, colored glass, or precious metals. Making decorative Kiddush Cups from plastic cups is a favorite children’s craft. There are no laws specifying how Kiddush Cups must look, but they, like other Jewish ritual objects, are often embellished because of the tradition of hiddur mitzvah, 'beautifying the mitzvah.'"
