Notes
The word "ham" is used together with a lot of words in Persian. A travel buddy is a ham-safar ("shared travel"), a co-worker is a ham-kār ("shared work"), an intimate companion is ham-nafas or "ham-dam" ("shared breath"), and perhaps most beautiful, a spouse is ham-sar ("shared head"). And so on.
